Low spoke count wheels.

Dont be fooled by the hype of low spoke count wheels.  The rims are stronger (heavier) to make up for getting rid of half the spokes.  This puts weight on the outside of the wheel.  Exactly where you don’t want weight for accelerating fast.  The spokes that are left are at a verry high tension.   Brake one and you loose a bigger percentage of the spokes you had.  And those aero spokes are not so aero in anything other than a very direct headwind.
