MLW offers thousands of combinations of hubs, spokes, nipples, & rims to choose from. Because MLW builds custom wheels each order and cost is different. Exact prices of individual parts are not listed here because that would take too much time to keep updated and MLW would rather spend time building your wheels. Other than labor, the parts you choose will be what determines the price of your wheel(s). Hub costs vary more than any other part so they are the biggest determining factor for the cost for a wheelset. Some hub brands do not include skewers, for those hubs MLW does sell skewers separately. MLW also sells rim tape and tubeless accessories as needed.

Spokes & Nipples
MLW’s stock spokes are silver DT Swiss Competition spokes. They are a double-butted 2.0, 1.8(14G/15G) stainless spoke. While MLW realizes anodized spokes/nipples are “in” they do not build as good of a wheel because the threads are altered due to the anodization process. That being said MLW can build your wheels with any spoke/nipple combination you want including colors or bladed spokes. If you want other spokes/nipples than the stock silver DT, please understand that this requires you to buy the whole box, even if there are more than are required for your application. You do get the extras though.
- Silver DT Swiss Competition double-butted spokes:
- With brass nipples, $1.00 each
- With silver alloy nipples, $1.20 each
- Other spokes/nipples available by the box only. Spokes/box & price vary.
